All-inclusive holidays can be a great way to have a relaxing time and know exactly what you will be spending before hand. We spent our honeymoon at the Hyatt Zilara All-Inclusive in Montego Bay, Jamaica (free, of course, with the Hyatt credit card) and loved it so much, we plan to go back.
If you don’t have miles and points, you can still enjoy a deeply discounted all-inclusive resort…with one stipulation. If you book with Book VIP, you have to attend a 90 minute time share presentation which includes a tour of the grounds and an invitation to consider VIP membership. And as long as you and your companion are good at saying “No,” this deal I’m about to show you really is a no-brainer.
Although I’ve not taken advantage of a promotion like this, my in-laws did. By their report, the time-share presentation really took 90 minutes and were happy to have taken advantage of the deal.
Check out http://www.bookvip.com. Their home page advertises that the special sale is a “Today-Only” event, and that the deals will be gone by tomorrow. I assure you, this is not the case. This page will look the exactly the same, or very similar, tomorrow, so don’t feel pressure to book immediately, or at all.
Of all the offers, I like the Holiday Inn Los Cabos All-Inclusive not only because it’s the cheapest ($349 per couple for 5 nights and 6 days, or $34.90 a day per person), but also because it does well on http://www.tripadvisor.com with 4 out of 5 stars and a certificate of excellence.
Check out the price below for September 2-7 this year:
This snapshot shows how much the same room would be during the same dates at the exact same hotel: (Note the total is $967.50)
So, you are saving $618.50 just by booking with Book VIP and attending a 90 minute presentation with your spouse. Or, as I see it, earning an hourly wage of $206.17 EACH while “working” for 90 minutes while you’re on holiday.
There are some stipulations with this. From what I understand, they are looking for couples who are legally married and have a major credit card.
